Hey all -

Sorry it's been a bit since I posted last. The last few days were absolutely crazy - we finished up the site one day early (which has never, ever been done in the history of jschool projects) and after staying up till 5 a.m. working on the site, I got up at 6:30 a.m. to go to Ko Panyee, this Muslim village on stilts in the middle of Andaman Sea. I have amazing pictures, which I'll share later (at the moment I'm in an internet cafe in Bangkok). After all day at Koh Panyee I went back to Khao Lak for a showing of our site, and then we had a big celebration, followed by swims in the pool and late late night swimming in the ocean. So cool because you can see the phosphorence shimmer in the moonlight.

I'm in Bangkok at the moment, on my way up north to Chang Mai. I have a night train that leaves in a few hours. My friends and I are traveling until Friday the 26th, when I leave to come back to the states.

Ok, whew, time to go relax before my lengthy train ride (12 hours!). More about today's transportation "adventure" later. Let's just say there was a van, a plane, an attempted train, two attempted buses, a taxi and several bridge crossing back and forth near the Bangkok airport.

Also, since I'll be traveling for this next week I probably won't be updating too much, if at all, so don't be too worried.

XOXO,
Julie
